APARTMENT

Our mission was to design a contemporary apartment right in front of the impressive and historical walls of the Old City of Jerusalem.

We have blended history and natural light to illuminate a minimal and warm interior.

During the first stage of the project, we have completely reorganized the interior to create a large living area with its kitchen that enjoy the view on the Old City. On the other side of the apartment, watching the garden, we have the master bedroom with bathroom and dressing room en-suite and three child bedrooms with their bathrooms.

Then, one year after completion, the owner has bought the apartment next door. Accordingly, a second phase of the project started. The former kitchen has been turned into a spacious dining room while the new kitchen offers wider spaces for cooking and family dining purposes.

The master bedroom has also moved to the new section of the enlarged apartment, and it includes a private studio-library that can be closed by two large sliding doors.

Among the other elements, to compose this brand new minimalist very large apartment, full of light and easy to maintain, we have used glass windows with invisible profiles, beautiful lighting details, Italian furniture, a talented local carpenter for the kitchen and the library room, refined bathrooms with Italian tiles and shimmering fabrics.
