The European Food and Safety Authority is a European Institution based in Parma, Italy.
Its headquarters are divided into two different parts: a conference center located on the ground floor and modular offices in a triangle-shaped tower.
The building is exemplary from an environmental point of view: 80 geothermal probes installed in the park ensure its cooling, 70m² of photovoltaic panels installed on the roof provide part of the electricity needs while the solar collectors cover 60% of the hot water needs.
