KINOR
BAKIKAR
RESTAURANT
There is a square in Jerusalem called "Kikar Hamuzika": the Music Square. This philanthropic project aims to gather all the communities from Jerusalem thanks to the music. There is a music museum, an outdoor stage where music is played live all day, restaurants and cafes.
We have been commisionned to design the elegant restaurant 'Kinor Ba Kikar', 'The violin in the square'. The restaurant accomodates up to 200 guests for a fine dinner inspired by the tastes of Jerusalem, Tunis and Paris.
We have chosen a warm design made of contrasts: dark oak for the floors and tables, white walls, benches in brown leather, chairs in flashy fuschia fabrics, glass engraved. All the furniture is movable to host events, but the European long bar that welcomes the guests and the 'taboon', the traditionnal oven to bake the pittas, whose fragrance tickles the appetite.
